I did not notice the Booster Sign-up in the binder, but Sue Contrell asked if I was going for my booster when we met in the Trattoria. I didn't know about it. I went back to my apartment for my card so it could be marked, filled out the information sheet and got the booster.

I was glued to "The Very Picture of You" by Isabel Wolff, and could not put it down. I was still reading when I realized that Peter was picking me up in 15 minutes. We had dinner at Pitch's; a pasta dish for Peter, shrimp scampi for me that was bathed in oil. We finished with coffee.

After my perm, I picked up prescriptions at Walgreen's, grocery shopped at P & S on Drexel and cosmetics at Merle Norman. I decided to top off my gas tank, but thought I'd get a better price than $3.49 at Andy's; it was the same price. I could use my P & S Rewards card to get $0.10 off. Poor Richard's on Hwy 100 & Oklahoma had it for $3.39, less 10 cents, came to $2.29; that's the best price I could find. I was appalled to see gas at $4.67 closer to downtown.
Lenore had a Birthday celebration in the Trattoria, which she advertised as "elegant"; a tray of vegetables and dip, cheese and crackers. A lot of people gathered and the Trattoria was a good place to have it.

I cooked a dozen eggs before mass to make deviled eggs for the potluck. It didn't get started until sometime after 4:00 p.m. with not as many contributions. We assembled the tables and as many as possible tried to squeeze around it; some people had to eat on the couch or arm chairs. I hope we can change the venue to allow people to set at tables.
