American Legion Band, Pot Luck, Movie

I made an apple salad to the pot luck before mass.  It filled Donald's big bowl.

I did the second reading of St. Paul to the Philippians, which had very long sentences, but I felt very good today with no fainting spells.

Terri Miller drove Doug Visvader, Cheri Franch and me to the American Legion Band Spring Concert in Cudahy.  It was marvelous, with great musicianship and spirit.

When we got back to SRS there wasn't much time to get our dishes down to the pot luck.  The pot luck was pretty skimpy, mostly salads.  My apple salad got polished off very quickly.  I hate buffets, but I hate pot lucks more; all that food mixed together does not appeal to me.

A movie was arranged at the last minute.  I would not have known about it, but Marilyn Minor asked if I was going to see "Oklahoma".  We had a nice group watching, and Marilyn could sing all the lyrics to every song.
