Pot Luck

After my hair I went to the Goodwill on Capitol Drive, hoping to find a glass baking dish.  What luck!  I found just what I needed for $3.99; Walmart had them for over $20.  I also found a nice butter dish and a very pretty cut glass bowl.

I bought my groceries at the P & S on North Ave. and bought a dozen roses for $8.00.  I could not believe the price; the other bunches were $12.00 and up.  With the hydrangeas from the side of the building, they made a beautiful arrangement. 

Since Peter was at the Culture Booth at Germanfest, I decided to  participate in the pot luck.  I made beans with ground chuck, which was well received.  I have just a little left for myself.  There were many interesting dishes, including Jean Pare's lamb, and Dwight Morgan's pork loin, plus a lot of salads and a Kathy and Ron Narloch's giant pretzel from Germanfest.
