I slept comfortably with a painful trip to the bathroom at 4:15 a.m. I was able to get back to sleep and got up at 6:15. I dreaded the shower, and it was just as painful as I imagined it would be.
Since Kristie is coming at at 10:00 a.m., I did some last minute straightening.

We visited on the porch, getting a whiff of fragrance from the Asian lilies. The dahlias are making their entrance.
Laura served a delicious salmon with roasted tiny potatoes and green beans topped with toasted walnuts. We had snicker doodles for dessert. I was a perfect evening to eat on the deck.
