Thanks to Terry who alerted me to Prime Financial's 5-year appreciation party that I had not been invited to. It's happened more than once, even though I do get their mailings. I was able to get two tickets for Peter and me.
Today started out very overcast, but rain was not in the forecast, and it did not rain.
Lyft picked us up at about 1:00 p.m. and dropped us off at the main gate. We had to walk to the extreme south end of the grounds to the Aer Lingus building which Prime Financial reserved for our 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. time slot; there was one slot before and one after. We sat at a table with two other couples who were very much fun. We did not stop talking the entire time.
Saz's catered the food: potato salad, French fries, brats, chicken breasts, pulled pork with beer, soda or water. We enjoyed some Riverwest Stein.
Afterwards we walked to a couple of areas and listened to the lively music. The grounds were spread with a lot of people and the music makers had an appreciative audience clapping and moving to the music.
