St. Rita Square Flower Boxes

 Friday, September 3, 2021

The Garden Club met to discuss replacing the petunias in the flower boxes and suggested pansies would be longer lasting than mums.  Jackie called to ask if I'd like to accompany her to Bayside Garden to pick some up.  There was a nice fresh selection of pansies, also a variety of mums.  I bought a nice pot for myself and a pot to give to Anita who invited us to her house on Labor Day.

I had my hair appointment at 11:30 a.m. so I couldn't help plant to make the piazza look nice for Herman's party.  The petunias were dug out allowing Jackie and Cookie to plant the pansies with sedum that they divided among the boxes.  It really looks nice.
